I always think a personalized gift is more meaningful. A monogramed bag or something unique for each girl. Another good idea is jewelry or another accessory they can use or wear on the wedding day.

How do I bustle my dress?

There are many ways to bustle a bridal gown. Ask your seamstress to show you several bustles that will look good with your gown. If you can, bring along your someone so they can help you on your wedding day!

Do I need to tip my vendors?

Tipping is not mandatory, but always a nice gesture if you think your vendors did a good job. You can determine the amount based on quality of service, number of people and time spent on the wedding.

Is there a standard order of events I need to follow at the reception?

Absolutely not! This is your day, which means you can decide.

Should I wear my veil to the reception?

This is a completely personal choice. If you have a longer veil you can ask your bridal salon about bustling the veil for the reception or you can purchase a shorter veil for the reception.

When should I send Save the Dates and Invitations?

Save the dates should be sent at least 6 months before your wedding. You can send them earlier if it is a popular date or there are significant out of town travel plans. Formal invitations should be sent 6-8 weeks before, with a reply date 2-3 weeks before the wedding.
